By accessing or using the TDocs platform — including the Turnitin AI & Plagiarism Detection tool at tdocs.shop and the AI Humanizer at humanizer.tdocs.shop (collectively, the "Service") — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
TDocs ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Service. References to "you" or "your" mean the individual or entity using the Service. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and TDocs.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
TDocs provides two integrated tools under one account:
The Service operates on a slot-based access model. Each document scan consumes one slot from your account. Slots are purchased individually or through subscription plans as described on the platform. The humanizer operates separately and its pricing is displayed on the humanizer subdomain.
Report processing times are estimates. While we aim to deliver reports within minutes, actual turnaround depends on document size, queue volume, and Turnitin's processing time.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent or abusive activity.
Access to the Service requires prepaid slots or an active subscription. All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) or the currency indicated at checkout. Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways, including Paystack and Intasend. By making a payment, you agree to the applicable payment processor's terms and conditions.
Slots are non-transferable between accounts. Subscription slots expire at the end of the subscription period. Unused slots from a subscription do not roll over unless explicitly stated in the plan terms.
Refund Policy:
You agree not to use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful, fraudulent, or prohibited by these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to:
We reserve the right to investigate and take legal action against violations of this Acceptable Use policy, including terminating your account and reporting unlawful activity to appropriate authorities.
Your Documents: You retain full ownership of all documents, text, and content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). TDocs does not claim any ownership rights over your User Content. We do not index, store, or use your documents for any purpose beyond providing the Service to you. Your documents are never added to any detection database, training dataset, or content library.
TDocs Platform: The Service itself — including its software, design, user interface, report formatting, website content, logos, and trademarks — is the exclusive property of TDocs and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited right to use it as described herein.
Feedback: Any suggestions, feature requests, or feedback you provide about the Service may be used by us without restriction or obligation to compensate you.
Service Accuracy: While we use the official Turnitin reseller API and strive for accurate, complete reports, TDocs does not guarantee that detection results are 100% accurate, error-free, or that they will match results produced by an institution's own Turnitin instance. Differences may arise due to institutional database scope, submission timing, and other factors.
Humanizer Output: The AI Humanizer is designed to help you revise and rephrase AI-generated content. We do not guarantee that humanized text will pass every detector in every scenario, as detection algorithms evolve continuously. You are solely responsible for reviewing humanized output and ensuring it meets your intended use case, including any academic or professional standards.
Academic Integrity: TDocs is a tool. How you use it is your responsibility. We do not endorse, encourage, or condone academic dishonesty, plagiarism, or the submission of AI-generated work as human-authored. You are responsible for complying with your institution's academic integrity policies.
No Warranty: THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TDOCS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO TDOCS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Termination by You: You may stop using the Service at any time. To close your account, contact us at [email protected]. Account closure does not entitle you to a refund for unused slots or remaining subscription periods unless otherwise stated in our Refund Policy.
Termination by Us: We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive activity, or if required to do so by law.
Survival: Sections 6 (Intellectual Property), 7 (Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability), and 8 (Termination and Governing Law) survive termination of these Terms.
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the federal or state courts located in the United States.
Dispute Resolution: Before filing a formal legal claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for a period of at least thirty (30) days.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TDocs regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
